We saw a growing interest in matcha in America, but were dissatisfied by the low quality of matcha drinks served in cafes and tea shops. After a small trip to Kyoto, Japan, we got inspired by not only the quality of the matcha, but the variety of things you can make with it. From matcha cake and ice cream to matcha lattes and smoothies there seemed to be endless possibilities. We decided to take action and bring to America our love for for good quality matcha.
